Hi gals and welcome back! I hope you had a great weekend. I am so ready to tackle on this week because it is our last week before we leave for Europe (hyperventilating!!). Raymond and I have a packed week with church and work commitments, packing and doing some last minute things prior to our trip but we could not be more excited.
This past Saturday I ran my very first 10k and it was awesome. And by awesome I mean super duper hard but extremely rewarding. I love to run but I do not like running outside and for me to run 6.2 miles in 1 hour and 11 minutes was an amazing accomplishment. I felt so proud of myself for the discipline I have developed and for the love that I have grown for exercise. I plan on doing a blog post on all my thoughts about my 10k soon because it will be a long one.
Raymond took me on a date night to my favorite restaurant Sixty Vines to celebrate. He is so sweet to me and was texting me while I was running and I could see his texts on my Apple Watch and I felt so loved and encouraged by him. Thank you baby for believing in me. He even said “babe I am so impressed by you” I don’t know why but that made me feel so good haha.
Bible Verse of the Week
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. James 1:5
Book of the Week
I started reading Lies Women Believe: And the Truth that Sets Them Free by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and WOAH. This book is incredible! I am about half way through and the Lord has revealed so much to me. I completely 110% recommend this book to you. It is changing my heart and mind towards things that I always thought to just be true in my life. If you are up for the challenge, read it.
Video of the Week
Raymond and I watched this and I cried! This kid is so cute and Ellen is so sweet to make his dreams come true. Kid Yodeler Mason Ramsey.
