Hello and happy December!! I took a small break from the blog and Instagram last week but only because I was actually really busy. I didn’t plan on but it is what it is. Not sure about you but I feel like I have been so annoyed this year with all the holiday shopping content out there. Is that weird? I mean don’t get me wrong I love shopping but geez there’s so much more to the holiday season than shopping and good sales. I don’t know maybe I’m just being a grinch.
I asked on my Instagram if you were interested in more recipes and you said yes. Last week I made a chicken thigh recipe and got so many great direct messages from you saying you were going to try it. I have a couple more planned for you. I will be doing them on Instagram stories so make sure you follow me there! This past weekend we had such an amazing date night. We went to our favorite Tex Mex restaurant Mi Cocina, had gelato and then went to the Dallas Stars game. Ahh we had such a blast, I shared all about it on my Instagram stories I hope you got to watch them.
Black Skinny Ankle Jeans– I love these because they are ankle jeans so they look great with booties. They are on sale for under $50.
Grey laced sweater – I loved this sweater so much but I didn’t realize it was cropped. I am not a big fan of cropped tops so I will be returning this one.
I purchased the Living Proof Dry Shampoo and it was terrible! I had heard great things about it but I hated it. I normally spray dry shampoo at night before I go to bed and don’t touch it and in the morning I don’t need to spray anymore and all the white is gone. Well this one I did just that and in the morning my hair was white and had the weirdest heavy texture on it I had to wash my hair. My absolute favorite is still the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo. I guess if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Bible Verse of the Week
Have you started your new year’s resolution? I know I have! And looking back at this year I feel that there is so much that I have accomplished but a lot more that has not been completed in my life. I was reminded of this verse, and I all I could think of was, “He’s not done with me”. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6
